Actually, there is a serious problem in the USA with what masquerades as the Free Market. Unfortunately, the 'Occupy Wall Street' crowd only seem to have a vague understanding of what it is, and very few of them have a remotely coherent or rational approach to workable solutions; some of them are frank anarchists, or even, pathetically, old-style communists.
In Canada, and in other places like New Zealand and Australia, these problems essentially do not exist and the American issues are being exploited by the monkey-see, monkey-do crowd for personal aggrandizement and an adolescent need to find meaning in rebellion.
Zzzzz......
This is a pity, since Wall Street affects all of us, is dysfunctional for reasons that are profoundly interesting, and deserve to be analysed by serious and thoughtful people.
